EASE

EASE was a collaborative design thinking assignment which brought together different perspectives to create an app prototype that aims to improve the educational experience at our university - The London Interdisciplinary School (LIS). Together with two of my peers, we created this slide deck together to walk through our design thinking process. We conducted a number of exercises to empathise, define and ideate the problem, as well as prototyping and testing our product EASE.

We collaboratively designed the brand elements and I put together the ux app prototypes. it was a fun project that allowed us to work dynamically together to create an app we feel like could have real positive impact on the learning experience at our university

EASE is an acronym for Engage, Acquire, Sense and Explore.

Conclusion

Through this project, I honed several skills, particularly in teamwork, collaboration, and problem-solving and it enabled me to put into practice several Design Thinking Methodologies, and better understand the five stages (empathise, define, ideate, prototype and test). The experience allowed me to further develop my UX/UI design skills by creating user-friendly interfaces that cater to different learning styles and interdisciplinary approaches. The project also enhanced my ability to synthesize various perspectives into a cohesive product that could potentially make a positive impact on our university community.
