I’m Luchi (Lucia Ene-Lesikar) a Tanzanian Maasai/British designer, problem solver, and changermaker passionate about creating impactful solutions to today’s most pressing challenges.
I blend creativity with strategy to empower marginalised communities and drive meaningful change.
Hey, it’s good to see you here :)
Growing up in Tanzania with my Maasai family deeply influenced how I see the world, instilling in me a profound respect for indigenous knowledge. I believe that these ancestral insights hold critical solutions for many of the complex issues we face today, from sustainability to urban design.
My journey into photography began with inspiration from my grandfather, a wildlife photographer. His work ignited my passion for capturing the world through a lens, and I’ve since expanded my practice to include everything from wildlife to food, events, and travel photography.
With 6+ of graphic design experience and 8+ years in photography, I help brands and creatives tell their stories through compelling visuals.
My expertise spans branding, strategy, graphic design, web design, product design, and more, bringing together strategic insight with creative execution to move clients from problem to impactful solutions.
I have a first-class BASc in Interdisciplinary Problems and Methods from the London Interdisciplinary School (LIS), where I developed a deep understanding of how to tackle complex global challenges through an interdisciplinary lens.
My research draws on both qualitative and quantitative methods, grounded in academic literature and insights from diverse fields such as urban design, sustainability, indigenous knowledge, Afrofuturism, and policy.
This approach allows me to synthesise information from multiple perspectives and create innovative, actionable solutions to real-world problems.
Let’s work together.
